It is true now as it has every been! Solar power is becoming more popular as time
passes by us! If you don't know why already.. then please let me explain the reasons why it has become massive over the last few years. Solar power energy can do seriously amazing things for us humans here on earth! It can reduce the cost of traditional energy and it can also help to keep the environment healthy!
These are the two primary reasons why people are switching to solar energy. Massive savings and contributing to a better environment are the key reasons. But the problem that lies in solar panel energy is that it is expensive to invest in. BUT... if you take another route you can certainly work on having a solar panel system for your home at an incredibility cheaper price!
What the alternative route I hear you say?
Simple really... you basically learn to develop your own full functional DIY solar panel system. Now don't get scared... as you may think that building one of these devices is rocket science! But fear not.... its actually quite simple. As long as you have a proper set of instructions to work off, you can simply follow the step by step plan from a reliable guide and off you go...
Cool... but how much does one of these guides cost.. and are materials expensive for a device like this?
Great question... but let me tell you this... As I mentioned in the beginning of this article it does not cost you a lot of money to get started with one of these devices. In fact, let me set the record straight. To purchase one of these guides it will cost you about $50. Then for the materials you'll need in order to build this device, it will set you back about $200. So $250 in total is the budget requirement!
Now if you think about this... it would normally cost you at least a few thousand dollars to purchase a full on solar panel to your house. But if you go DIY, it will cost you a fraction of that. In addition to that, it will take you less time to actually make your investment back. After a few months, you will begin to notice great savings on your electricity bills. You may even experience complete control of your energy consumption as you may never need to use your local energy company ever again!

Build Your Own Renewable Energy Device For Under $200
Renewable energy.... once a tiny thought in the minds of advanced environmental science... is now a hot topic that is sweeping the world as we know it. Anyone that understands the concept of renewable energy knows that its a fantastic idea and it works provided that you know what you are doing. Many people know that its got a lot of benefits attached to it.. Lets take a look at a few of them below...
Perhaps one of the most beneficial advantages of renewable energy is the fact that it gives you a lot of savings on your household bills! Many people have saved a lot of money using renewable energy devices such as solar or wind power devices. What sort of savings are we talking about here? Well... somewhere in the region of 80% savings! Many people would not argue that saving 80% on their electricity bills was not going to change their financial status dramatically... because it does!
Then there is the added benefit of knowing that using a renewable energy device like solar or wind power is actually contributing in a positive way to the environment. These devices are clean energy devices... meaning that they do not pollute the environment. Traditional methods of creating energy to power your home use fossil fuels such as fuel, gas and oil. These fuels are harmful to the environment and they are also running out. So its important to start using renewable energy sources for producing electricity for your home.
But one of the disadvantages of renewable energy is that its not exactly cheap to setup... this is especially true for professionally made systems! They can cost a lot of money... from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. So what are you supposed to do if you can't afford a system like this???
Build one!!!! Pure and simple... at first you may think... "your crazy!... I have no experience in building a renewable energy system like this..." But you don't need to have experience... you can purchase a guide that can show you exactly how to develop one of these systems yourself. These guides cost about $50 dollars to purchase and will show you everything step by step! Interested? take a look at the links below..

Have You Heard Of The Ground Breaking Quiet Wind Turbine?
A new type of wind turbine has come into the US and Canadian market. It was launched back in late 2008 by a Scottish company called Renewable Devices. It was designed for quiet roof-top performance which can provide significant power for homes and commercial buildings.
The name of this new wind turbine is called the Swift wind turbine and its being sold in the US by a company called Cascade Engineering of Grand Rapids. As you may know already.. or if you at least stand by a wind turbine in action, you will realize that its pretty noisy! Wind turbines have had complaints in the past about noise pollution.
However, with this new Swift wind turbine, it is designed to reduce noise levels. The wind turbine is seven feet in diameter and it consists of five thin blades. These blades are then encircled by a ring. The ring reduces vibration and also diffuses the noise to a level of under 35 decibels.
Cascade Engineering have stated that for the wind turbine to work effectively, it should be positioned at least two feet above the roof line in locations where their is average wind! The two fins direct the turbine to face the wind, with the ability to turn 360 degrees if necessary. The blades then simply power a generator, which produces about 1.5 kilowatts when their is 14 mph wind.
How much electricity can this new wind turbine generate?
Well... over a year, the swift wind turbine can generate roughly 2,000 kilowatt hours of electricity. This is a pretty significant percentage of the 6,500 to 10,000 kilowatt-hours per year that US households typically consume.
However, as with any typical wind turbine installation, this baby doesn't come cheap! The installation costs run at about $10,000. However, There are some tax rebates which can help out with the cost. Depending on some of the incentives and performance levels of the Swift Wind turbine, Cascade engineering suggest that the upfront cost of this device could be made up in as little as three years. This is a pretty good sign indeed!
However... if you feel that the cost is still a little too pricey, you can always go for a cheaper DIY option! Interested? Then take a look at the links below.

3 Things YOU Must Know Before You Get A Solar Panel System!
Solar power has been a very popular topic in recent years. This is especially true in the last couple of years when the economy was taking its downturn. Lots of people were trying to cut costs when it came to financial household expenses. It become widespread news that natural renewable energy was a way forward for cutting costs in the typical American household.
Solar panels are probably the most popular gadget to producing electrical energy for your home. They are a proven long lasting way to convert sunlight into electricity. There are always new advancements being made in solar power. For the rest of this article, I am going to mention 3 important things you must know before you install a solar panel for your home.
Here are the 3 things you need to know....
1. Ideally, a solar panel system will go on a southwest-facing roof. However, the direction it faces does not matter as much as you might think. West and south are quite good and southeast, east and north-northwest can provide good payback too.
2. Solar power's natural enemy is shade. One of the key things a solar power consultant will do when they climb on your roof is to get a very good understanding of how the roof is shaded in different seasons throughout the year. You and the consultant will have to think about the growth of trees over 10-30 years. Some trees that shade your roof may be several houses away from yours - tall redwoods for example. Even if your current neighbors are good friend and will trim their tree that shades your roof if you ask, what if they move in 2 years and the Grumpy family moves next door?
3. It is very difficult to know how much a solar system will add to the value of your home at resale. People who install solar systems generally plan to stay in their homes a long time, so re-sales are rare. I think it is fair to say that 5 or 10 years from now potential buyers will be much better able to assess the value of a low electric bill.
There you have it... these are some of the most important things you will need to consider when you are thinking about installing a solar panel. You'll also be interested to know that solar panels can be expensive to purchase. There is a way around this... why not try a DIY approach instead? Its far cheaper and more fun! Check out some of the recommended guides below that will teach you step-by-step on how to accomplish a worth while project like this..
